(Compatible with ALL
versions of Clarion)
vuLimiter
2.0 allows you to
control the number of concurrent users of your
application over a network. Simply add the
vuLimiter template, set the number of concurrent
users and compile. vuLimiter automatically
monitors the number of concurrent instances of
your application running over a LAN WITHOUT the
need to write anything to your database, system
registry, or any INI file.
Key Benefits
- Limit the
number of concurrent users over a Local Area
Network (LAN)
- Prevent
your application from running more than once
on a single PC
- Prevent
your application from running at all without
a license file
-
Automatically add "Demo" to the Title Bar of
every Window (while in demo mode)
-
Automatically display a "Demo" message on
program startup (while in demo mode)
-
Automatically display a "Demo" message prior
to every Window opening (while in demo mode)
-
Automatically add the "End User Name" to the
Title Bar of every Window (when using
a license file)
- Issue a
new License File to increase the number of
concurrent users without having to resend or
reinstall your application
- Place a
single License File on the network and have
all your copies point to it (easy update,
requires user to select license file
location)
- Set a
"Default" number of concurrent network users
in your application without having to issue
a license file (same as as version 1.0)
- Customize
all of vuLimiter's messages
And any these functions can be invoked without
having to write a single line of code!
Using a Password with your installation program
gives you control over the
distribution of your application,
but how do you control concurrent users
over a
LAN? vuLimiter of course!
